Delete your EZWeddingz account

This page explains exactly what happens when you delete your account, and lets you delete it directly.

What data is deleted

Your profile — name, email, mobile number, date of birth, profile photo.
Your wishlist and saved searches.
Your reviews are anonymised (the rating stays public but your name is replaced with "Anonymous").
Your Google sign-in link is removed (if used).

We retain the following items because Indian law requires it:

Booking records and payment receipts — retained for 8 years as required by the Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST regulations. These are unlinked from your identity: your name on these records is replaced with "Deleted Customer" and your email/mobile is removed.
Communications you sent us (support emails, dispute records) — retained for up to 3 years for legal defence purposes only.

Retained records cannot be used to identify or contact you after deletion.

Immediately — your account is locked and your profile data is anonymised in our database.
Within 30 days — the soft-deleted row is purged from our active systems.
Within 90 days — encrypted backups containing the data expire and are overwritten.

This action cannot be undone

Once deleted, you cannot log in with the same account.
You can sign up again with the same email after 30 days.
Any upcoming bookings will not be cancelled automatically — please cancel them first if you need a refund. View my bookings
You will lose access to your booking confirmations and receipts in-app.

You're not signed in. Please log in to your customer account to delete it directly.

If you cannot sign in (forgotten password, lost device), email us from your registered email address:

Subject: Account deletion request. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days.
