EZWeddingz is an online wedding marketplace owned and operated by Idyllic Events("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information when you use www.ezweddingz.com, our mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email, mobile number, optional date of birth, and profile photo.
- Booking information — event date, venue selection, guest count, and payment status.
- Communication — messages exchanged between you and venue partners through the Platform.
- Device & usage — IP address, browser type, pages visited, device identifiers, and approximate location (only when you click "Near Me").
- Cookies — small files we use to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences.
3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To process bookings, payments and to share necessary contact details with the venue partner you book.
- To send transactional updates (booking confirmation, reminders, payment receipts) via email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To improve our Platform, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law.
- With your explicit consent, to send wedding-related offers and recommendations.
4. Who we share it with
We share only the minimum necessary information with:
- Venue partners — your name and mobile, only after you confirm a booking.
- Payment processors — Razorpay/Stripe to process transactions securely.
- Service vendors — hosting, analytics, email/SMS providers under strict confidentiality.
- Authorities — when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Access, correct or delete your account information at any time.
- Opt-out of marketing communications.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for optional data uses.
6. Data retention & security
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal and tax obligations. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with industry-standard safeguards.
7. Children
EZWeddingz is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
